Teaching Resource Center

Purpose

The purpose of the Teaching Resource Center (TRC) at Campbell University is to facilitate a program for teaching excellence to equip faculty with the skills and resources to make a difference in the lives of our students and community.

The TRC is located on the third floor of Wiggins Memorial Library in Room 301. We encourage you to come visit the physical space and collection!

Mission

The center will support faculty with teaching and learning pedagogical best practices through:

  • Circulating print and e-resource collections
  • Faculty-led workshop series
  • Campus conversations and collaborations, such as book clubs

Goals

  • Strengthen collaboration and communication between faculty across campus
  • Curate a collection of materials to promote effective teaching and learning
  • Highlight diversity, inclusion, and belonging and incorporating it into teaching practices
  • Identify, share, and demonstrate research-based best practices in teaching
  • Foster teaching practices that support the whole student
  • Value student voices in conversations about teaching and learning

Teaching Resource Center Committee

The Teaching Resource Center (TRC) Committee serves as an advisory committee to the Wiggins Memorial Library TRC. Members representing multiple areas of campus will serve as ambassadors for the Teaching Resource Center's collections and programming.
