About Reserves

Print reserves are books or other items that have been placed on a limited loan basis at the request of an instructor, who also specifies whether the item may be checked out for two hours, one day, three days, or one week. Up to three Reserve items may be checked out at one time.

Please note:

  • Two-hour reserve items may be checked out overnight during the last hour before the library closes, and are due back within the first hour of library operation the following day.
  • Reserve overdue fines are $0.50 per hour for a two-hour reserve and $1.00 per day for all other reserves.

Electronic reserves are available via the library website and are password protected. The course instructor provides the user name and password.
