Title: Gender Disparities in Screening for High Cholesterol in Young Adults in the United States, 2007-2012
Developed under the guidance of Dr. Timothy Hinson , Clinical Research
This study was a retrospective, cross sectional analysis of young adults (men 20-35 and women 20-45) who participated in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey from 2007 to 2012. Our results indicate that there is a disparity in screening rates between young adult men and women.
