I will be talking about what is the 13th and 4th amendment and how it applies to the use of informants. I will discuss a brief history of informants and who can be an informant. I will explain the important cases that stems from the use of informants. I will elaborate on some observations on the use, abuse and control of informants. I will also be explaining the cost of using informants, defense attorney’s concerns about the use of informants and the relationship between law enforcement officer(s) and informant(s).
