There are many options available to you to create a virtual presentation. The typical length of a
Symposium presentation is around 20 minutes. We’ve listed a few of them, below.

- Voice Thread- Dr. Charlotte Cox (2:34)
- PowerPoint Slidecast- Librarian Ron Epps (12:55)
- Screencast-O-Matic- Librarian Elizabeth Dobbins (16:03)
- Design and record your poster presentation using readily available tools.
- Use VoiceThread to add text, voiceover, or video to your slideshow.
- Create a Slidecast by syncing audio narration with a PowerPoint presentation.
- Use Screencast-O-Matic to record all or part of your screen with video and/or audio and download as an MP4.
Submitting Your Presentation, Poster, or Art Work
Student presenters may submit their work using this
Academic Symposium Virtual Submission
Form. Submissions are due by Wednesday, March 17, 2021. The following list
suggests acceptable file format types for your work. Please email librarian Steve Bahnaman
(bahnamans@campbell.edu) for any questions related to file uploading and formats.
- Video Presentation (as an MP4 file)
- PowerPoint Slides with narration (as a PPT or an MP4 file)
- Poster Presentation with narration (as a PPT or an MP4 file)
- Fine Art (as a JPG file)
- Any other file appropriate to support your presentation
