Title: The Production of Nontestimonial Evidence in Criminal Procedure
Developed under the guidance of Dr. Catherine Cowling , Criminal Justice

The Fifth Amendment states "no person shall be...compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself." Though the Fifth Amendment grants the privilege against self-incrimination and protects a person from producing testimonial or communicative evidence, it does not protect a person from producing physical evidence that could be incriminating in nature.
