Title: Understanding Inflammation in Muscle Cells in Culture
Developed under the guidance of Dr. Karen Guzman , Biology

Our immune system contains a wide variety of cells that work together during inflammation. Scientists recently discovered that skeletal muscle can play a role in this process. In our project, we are using mouse muscle cells in culture to better understand how muscles respond to stimuli that cause inflammation in-vitro.
