Conservation is important to the world today because of the current state of the world. Each day, renewable resources are not renewed, or ways of life inhibit the way the world could progress. Costa Rica is one of the up and coming countries in the conservation world. Their methods that are used to protect the environment and its creatures are ways that all nations need to adapt in order to preserve the world as it is today. There are many different levels of conservation: national, municipal, and individual families. All three levels work together to ensure that Costa Rica remains the beautiful nation that it is today. The national level uses legislation in order to keep the country as a conserved paradise for all creatures that live there. The municipal level provides ecotourism, education, and many other methods to bring conservation awareness to the locals and also the tourists that visit the country. Families also stay involved on a personal level, through recycling, reusing, and reducing their materials. All of these efforts are quickly becoming part of the Costa Rican culture, which should also become a part of cultures all over the world.
