Title Alerts Service for Faculty

Title Alerts is a service provided by Wiggins Memorial Library to faculty who are interested in receiving alerts about new titles relevant to their teaching and research subject areas.

Faculty can submit a request to set up a Title Alerts profile. Please contact the liaison librarians for more information.

After a Title Alert was set up, faculty will receive an alert email in a regular schedule (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). Faculty can use the link in the received email to access the list of new titles, as shown below:

Details of each title will be displayed when it is selected. If faculty would like to recommend a title, they can click at the Recommend button. A few options are also available to inform the library how to handle the recommendation:

  • Notify me when available
  • Place on hold for me
  • Notify me upon cancellation
